The trainee's learning portfolio provides the evidence of progress. It is the trainees responsibility to ensure that the documentary evidence is completed and uploaded to the ePortfolio by the specified submission date. Trainees are advised to meet with their Educational Supervisor well in advance of the published submission date. Trainees should note that any assessments completed after the submission date may not be counted towards their annual ARCP.
Please note that failure to complete the relevant number of Work Place Based Assessments (WPBAs) and / or an Educational Supervisors Report and / or to submit the following documentation can result in the trainee being issued with an unsatisfactory outcome at their ARCP.

- Psychiatry Supervisor Report - to be completed by the Psychiatric Supervisor. If the trainee has 2 x 6 month posts in an academic year two reports will be required - one for each placement. For those undertaking an subspecialty endorsement placement in liaison please ensure you use the report template for liaison as opposed to the old age psychiatry report template.
- The ARCP Educational Supervisor Summary Report is to be completed by the Educational Supervisor
The Psychiatric Supervision Report is to be completed by the Psychiatric Supervisor. If you have 2 x 6-month posts in an academic year two reports will be required- one for each placement.
The ARCP Educational Supervisor Summary Report is to be completed by the Educational Supervisor (College Tutor for core trainees).
Portfolio: Please ensure your Training Programme Director is set on your e-portfolio to allow them to access your portfolio and view your evidence prior to the assessment. Further guidance on the ARCP process can be found on the Royal College of Psychiatrists website .
The review will chart your progress to date and will identify any specific training needs for the future. The results of the review will be recorded on the ARCP form, copies of which will be available to you and the Royal College with a copy retained by Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education for your training record file. We advise that you share the information relating to your ARCP outcome with your Educational Supervisor to facilitate further Educational Supervision.
It is essential that the necessary documentation is uploaded to the eportfolio prior to the document submission deadline as this will enable the panel to view the documents prior to the assessment date.
